Smackk’n started in 2020 during a global pandemic when uncertainty was high, but the need for real food, real flavor, and real connection was even higher. What started as a pop-up serving plates to the community quickly turned into a movement. People weren’t just coming for a meal, they were coming for comfort food that felt like home.

 

From day one, Smackk’n has been about bold flavor and authentic soul. We’re talking crispy fried chicken, fresh fish fried just right, and unforgettable sides like creamy mac and cheese, sweet candied yams, and collard greens—all made without cutting corners. This is comfort food done the way it’s supposed to be; rich in flavor, rooted in culture, and made with love.

 

Now serving full-time out of ChezVous, a family-owned skating rink with over 90 years of history, Smackk’n continues to grow while staying grounded in what got us here: community, consistency, and quality. Being part of a space with that kind of legacy isn’t by accident—it’s a reflection of who we are.

As we expand, we bring that same energy to every table we touch. Whether it’s a takeout plate or a major event, Smackk’n delivers food that stands out, brings people together, and leaves a lasting impression.
